This year World Market sold an array of international Christmas ornaments, which inspired me to pick a TRAVEL theme for my tree.

I went to town with these ornaments: Ancient Icons, European Icons, Egyptian Icons, Wood Kokeshi Dolls, and Wooden Dutch Shoes. I can’t find a link for the laser-cut Eiffel Tower and Leaning Tower of Pisa ornaments. I bought them all right after Thanksgiving as part of a “2 for $5” sale; they are discounted even further now.

The final touch is the globe on top of the tree. It fills in nicely as the star, right?
