RECAP: Zambia

We only spend five days in Zambia but each one is extremely memorable. I’ve linked to all of my posts below so you can check out the details more thoroughly if you’re planning your own trip here, or if you missed a post. Highlights include a colorful textile factory, village tour, camping in proximity to wildlife, and several outstanding game drives through South Luangwa National Park. Camping on the Luangwa River

Our accommodation on the Luangwa River in Zambia ranks among my favorite of the trip — we camp on a prime stretch of river where elephants and hippos roam freely around our tents at night.

On Safari in South Luangwa

I hereby crown South Luangwa National Park my favorite wildlife park in Africa. On our sunrise game drive we encounter a huge variety of animals up close — and we have them all to ourselves because there are hardly any tourists here!
