I spend my last nights in Nepal in the mountain village of Nagarkot, coincidentally during the Festival of Lights. I’m delighted to watch a local dance troop perform at sunset.

Expense Report: Nepal

You could live like a king in Nepal for $40 a day. My trekking costs inflate that number, but I’d still consider Nepal a high value destination.

    • I wish I knew the name! I’ve just searched on-line via Google Images and Google Maps, but can’t find it. Since I was there four years ago, it might have a different name now anyways. Sorry that’s not more helpful!
